1.  I  am  amining  to  get  20 /20  in my spelling  because last year I keeped getting  under 20.19.18

2.This year I am going to improve on my talking because I got in trouble.

3.I am going to gtet my blog work completed and on time.

                                                               FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

 The first day of school I had to get up at 6:40 in the morning.  I stayed in bed tell 6:50 my sister Jamie-Lee turned on the light.  I told her to turn it off she said ‘Hurry up’ we need to get up for school.  But I’m tired so I wrapped my blanket write round my head and went back to sleep  then dad got up at 7:00 he yelled at  me to get out of bed and turned the jug on.  I  slowley climed  out and turned the jug on  made my bed and got qickley dressed.

 I chose this peace of  writing because I youse intristing verbs and adverbs

In room1 we are working on not to use our fingers  to add and subtract numbers.  This will make adding and subtracting easier and it won’t take as long.  Also if I have my fingers cut off in a tragic accident, I will still be able to add and subtract numbers.

I chose this topic because I can show people what I am working on in the class.

       In room1 we are doing our goals and these are my goals.I chose this for my work of the week because I can show what my goals are to people.

My experiment was to test wether plants need sunshine to grow.My prediction was that plants do  need sunshine to grow

On Wednsday  we ripped a flower here are some pictures

Petals are used to attract insects into the flower, they may have guidelines on them and be scented.

Sepals protect the flower whilst the flower is developing from a bud.

Carpal -This is made up of the Stigma and the Style.
Style-The style raises the stigma away from the Ovary to decrease the likelihood of pollen contamination.
Stigma-Is covered in a sticky substance that the pollen grains will stick to.
                                                                    

Stamen
Anther-The Anthers contain pollen sacs. The sacs release pollen on to the outside of the anthers that brush against insects on entering the flowers. The pollen once deposited on the insect is transferred to the stigma of another flower or the same flower. The ovule is then able to be fertilised.

Aim:  Too see if plants need sunshine to grow.

Prediction: I think the two plants in the sun will grow better than the plant without sunlight.

Procedure:
Get three black pots and fill them with soil.
Put two seeds on the top of each pot.
Put one pot in the cupboard of art room with the light on and the other pot out by the tree so it gets sunlight. Keep one more plant in a box so no light can get it.
Water plants once a day – half a yoghurt container.

The variables we are keeping the same are…
Soil, seed, water, oxygen and compost.
